Takeflight was started in 2005 by creator Vince Lo, using the t-shirt as a vehicle for communication. We’ve gone through numerous seasons of experimentation and story telling with each season driven by a different theme.

From these humble beginnings, Takeflight continues to grow today holding exploration and discovery as its prime objectives. We’re passionate about living transparent and truthful lives filled with curiosity and inspiration. Takeflight is a collective because we want to invite you to join our vision. We hope to be more than a clothing company but a group that is devoted to be inspiring storytellers.

We haven’t quite figured out exactly who we are yet, and that is okay, because the future is still unknown. We will get there and look back to rediscover it.
